What can you do with a degree in Civil Engineering and a minor in Classical Studies? Either design your own buildings complete with inscriptions or accept a position in construction management and annoy your coworkers with a dead language. I've chosen the latter.
After growing up in the suburbs of Atlanta, I spread my wings and journeyed to the loveliness of Baltimore and Johns Hopkins University. And no, I was never pre-med. I've landed in the planned community of Columbia, MD with a good job and a guy that I love. Who could ask for more? I still grace the last stand of the cello section of the glorious Hopkins Symphony Orchestra and tinker with learning Italian so I can finally visit the Roman Forum.
