Good news, bad news

Okay, the bad news is that my picks [read: Dad's picks] in the football pool aren't doing so hot.  Now Dad, don't get all depressed.  I still love you and teams that should have won just didn't for some reason.  We'll do better next week.  And I'll share the blame for relying on you and not which team has the prettier colors.

Good news! I came back to my office today with a message on my voicemail from a headhunter.  Granted, I think they thought I use my Civil degree more than I do, but those are the best messages ever. 

Thanks to Jeff for taking me to the Melting Pot for our anniversary (eight years, woohoo!).  We ate at the bar, which is new to me but more fun I think than sitting at a table.  You can take me to McDonald's for my birthday, okay?  We also saw The Departed, that new Scorsese/DiCaprio/Damon/Nicholson movie. It is LONG!  Kind of bloody at the end, but the action was good. So the verdict is: my mom should not see this, but if you like Scorsese then go for it.  And last but not least, Click was delivered by Netflix and that was good, too.  Kind of 'Christmas Carol' but good all the same.  And it's nice to know that Christopher Walken thinks that Kate Beckinsale has a 'rockin' hot body.'
